ZIP-CODE SEARCHES: This is our best recommendation for use of this site. You should start by entering your five-digit zip code in the "ZIP (5 DIGIT)" box. FINDLIEN.COM will
look to see if there is a match. If there is not a match in the database, the system will provide you with the ten
closest zip codes to the one that you entered.
If you only type a few digits in this text box, FINDLIEN.COM automatically appends zeroes to the end of your entry. For example, if you
enter "916" in this box, it will search as if you entered "91600."

|
PARTIAL ZIP-CODE SEARCHES: If your zip code is, for example, 91606, and you want to find medical providers in the 916XX zip codes, you
can perform a partial zip code search in the keyword search box by typing "916" and then submitting your query.
|
| 3.
|
SEARCH BY COUNTY: The FINDLIEN.COM database also keeps track of the county where each medical
provider practices. If you would like to search for a medical provider in your county, enter the county in
the "COUNTY" box. Partial letters will work, also (i.e., typing "Los" will locate Los Angeles county health care providers.
BE ADVISED, however, that all other counties with "LOS" in them will also be displayed.
|
| 4.
|
CUMULATIVE FIELD SEARCHING: You can refine your search by entering search words in each of the boxes. For example,
if you want to find a Chiropractor in Los Angeles County, you should set the "MEDICAL AREA OF PRACTICE" field to
"Chiropractic," and type "los angeles" in the "COUNTY" field.
Your result will appear.
Be advised that refined searches like this produce fewer results.
